TurboTorch Training Is NATE Recoginzed

TurboTorch, the leading provider of air fuel brazing and soldering products, has been named as a recertification provider for North American Technician Excellence, Inc., (NATE), the independent certification organization for technicians in the heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) industry.

Technicians who participate in TurboTorch's Safety, Product and Application course will earn three (3) hours of continuing education towards NATE recertification requirements. The class will relate to pertinent Knowledge Areas of Technician Expertise (KATE) and will provide credit within these NATE specialty areas: air conditioning (installation and service) and heat pumps- air to air (installation and service). These invaluable training hours help lead to the five-year recertification for a welder.

"We are pleased to provide welder training that significantly contributes to the HVAC industry,"  said Marketing Manager of Retail Distribution Hugo Morales. "TurboTorch's classes combine demonstrations and hands-on training, with a special focus on safety. We are committed to supporting a high, measurable standard of technician excellence and knowledge by providing not only the right tools, the best training."

The training/recertification gives technicians an edge on the competition since 87% of consumers prefer a certified HVAC technician for their brazing and soldering needs.
